I am a driven and compassionate student studying Environmental Studies and Political Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. Known for my enthusiasm and empathy I am dedicated to creating positive change in the field. Throughout my life, I have been an active member in my community. From canvassing for local, national, and state wide elections, to co-founding environmental and human rights organizations, I have turned my passion into involvement and action. My work experience canvassing with Public Outreach for the international charity, Greenpeace has given me the opportunity to interact with the public and educate citizens on environmental policy. Public Outreach has also given me valuable experience in grassroots organizing, sales, and public relations. In my career, I have thoughtfully communicated with others in order to increase support for important causes.During my time at Feel the Beat and Empire Athletics, I have proven to be an excellent communicator, advocate, and empathetic team member that fosters a productive environment. In addition, I am an excellent student, receiving a 4.2 GPA at Riverdale Ridge High School, while completing concurrent enrollment classes at Front Range Community College. At the University of Colorado Denver and the University of Colorado Boulder, I have maintained a high GPA of 3.75. In the CU system I have held leadership positions as the chair of recruitment for the CU Denver Cheerleading team. I have also been involved in organizations such as Kappa Alpha Theta, Scale to Win, Mobilize, New Era Colorado, and Honor society. I am tri-lingual and was awarded the Seal of Biliteracy in American Sign Language.
