Producing classified LiDAR projects and orthorectified mosaic imagery to a high standard, from raw data arriving in the office (through a secondment to the Onwards Data Processing Team; providing initial data rectification and calibration in POSPac and DASHMap), through to creating project specific workspaces. Through following a workflow process and generating products to the clients’ specification within given timeframes, showing dedication through overtime where required. Communication is essential to address issues effectively so these can be resolved or communicated to the client, troubleshooting new tasks and associated challenges. I have gained an understanding of Microstation software suite; Terrascan, Terramatch, Terraphoto and other relevant software such as Orthovista in order to process LiDAR and imagery used, and as part of a team worked with colleagues to troubleshoot solutions to any problems, leading, coaching and assisting in other projects, and special projects as required.

Volunteering for a small NGO on Samos to provide GIS support for the conservation team I was responsible for the visualization of data collected by both the marine and terrestrial teams. Often combining multiple data from various sources to allow accurate representation and the ability to analyse the data fully. Whilst volunteering here I was also able to get involved with terrestrial fieldwork and data collection, and provided administrative support to the team, creating a more defined induction process for new volunteers and a monitoring scheme for the existing ones.
