Manager - Amateur Licensing
CurrentCollaborate with the Senior Manager of Amateur Licensing and Vice President of Amateur Licensing to oversee day-to-day operations for nine total Amateur Licensing Coordinators and one Amateur Licensing Administrator.Directly oversee five employees and guide them through customer feedback, observations on the K-12 and Collegiate markets, challenging applications, and their professional goals. Collaborate with other departments on projects and procedures to improve license processing and customer service. Maintain clearance process for popular titles in the Amateur market, while communicating with playwrights and agents about producers interested in their work.Build and develop relationships with customers and organizations within the educational markets, including the Texas University Interscholastic League (UIL), Educational Theatre Association (EdTA), the Irene Ryans, etc. Attend conferences to maintain customer and industry relationships, and answer questions about the Concord Theatricals’ licensing policies. Process incoming applications, refunds, compliance issues, and music materials shipments as needed during high volume seasons to support the Amateur Licensing team.Maintain knowledge about the Concord Theatricals catalog, which includes over 12,000 titles in order to provide best possible play and musical recommendations to customers.
