Marketing the University of Leeds to prospective students was the main role of this rewarding and educational 12 month internship.I assisted with the design and production of prospectuses, advertising literature, welcome packs and posters aimed at encouraging the students to apply to study at the university. The content on the university's website was also developed to promote the University and encourage higher levels of student applications.Organising the university's open days was another aspect of this role and I managed six open day events during the 12 month internship.The result of this work was a 16% increase in applications following these marketing activities.
