Our goal is to encourage the investment of money, time and talent to encourage participation in the advancement of our cause. My responsibilities in this area have included prospect identification and research, strategic campaign development, coordinating volunteer activities, proposal and grant writing, speech writing and high-level management of media, board members and community members. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONSMy role in fundraising has allowed me to become proficient in many areas of marketing communications. Primarily I have been focused on the conception, development, writing, editing, production, implementation and purchase of promotional communications, annual reports, newsletters, email and web marketing communications, PR communications and general marketing collateral. EVENT MANAGEMENTEvents are a critical component to fundraising in the non-profit sector allowing us to connect personally with people beyond paper and digital communications. In my career I have been responsible for managing major events which has included: the strategic conception, implementation, planning, promotion and scheduling of events; the selection and coordination of venues and vendors; and working with volunteers, leadership and committees for event exposure and facilitation.
