R + R Woodworking was a small wood furniture and cabinet shop. I designed and built all projects myself. My projects ranged from small tables to large built-in cabinets and bookcases. I specialized in mixing woods and focused on designing pieces that were unique, yet functional in their intended space.This experience lead me into graduate school for mechanical engineering as I was interested in designing products with advanced technology that would have an impact on our world and people's lives.

Olde Columbine High School is a public alternative school for students who have had trouble in the main stream school system. Many had learning disabilities and behavioral problems. I taught all levels of secondary math from pre-algebra to Algebra II. I wrote all my own lesson plans and worked closely with parents to ensure their child's success in my classes.
