Creating a positive impact for local communities and residents who choose to live there has always been an important aspect of my professional career decisions. When I transitioned into law enforcement as a Communications Dispatcher with the Arizona Department of Safety – this passion became more acute. Now as an accomplished Financial Fraud Investigator and leading advocate of using criminal intelligence databases to solve cases through information sharing – I fight to prevent crimes before they happen, and when they do I use my decade plus of investigatory expertise to help ensure cases are solved, criminals are brought to justice, and the voices of victims are heard.Working primarily in the area of financial fraud (accounting) and risk management, my career growth has been fueled by continued promotions and increasing levels of professional leadership responsibility and accountability, including the mentoring and training of senior analysts and accounting fraud examiners.Building on this record of success, I have also received numerous industry and law enforcement awards, including being recognized by the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services Division as their N-DEx Success Story of the Year recipient in 2016. Whether it’s researching, analyzing, evaluating, or curating complex criminal intelligence data for case preparation – being the change you wish to see is the only thing that matters, and for me that change begins by giving voice to the voiceless, keeping local communities and their residents safe while preventing crime before it happens. And using complex data analysis and shared intelligence via information technology is the most effective and efficient means to make this change a reality. We use complex information sharing to limit criminal activity, imagine what these same resources could do to help financial, accounting and theft in the corporate world. If you would like to learn more about financial fraud, criminal intelligence and championing a culture and environment of greater fiscal integrity, I would love to connect.
