I was responsible for conducting research, analysis, and outreach for numerous projects. My work mainly focused on the economy of the Narragansett Bay. I evaluated the housing market in the Bay through hedonic analysis to understand the economic value of waterfront amenities, proximity to the coast, and access to open space. I also took part in a multi-organizational effort to understand the economic value of the Narragansett Bay watershed through thirteen distinct sectors that rely on its natural capital. I also corresponded with local schools and organizations to aid in data collection on water usage in the Bay.

I explored international markets through individual and cohort-based research projects for companies and organizations in Rhode Island, providing comprehensive reports detailing potential for domestic and international expansion and opportunities. I aided in organization of conferences and events, including the annual World Trade Day conference - along the way, I gained proficiency in related programs, including Constant Contact, RegOnline, and Salesforce. I greeted guests in the office and answered incoming phone calls. During my years as an international market research intern, I gained proficiency in analyzing data, understanding businesses' opportunities and threats, developing comprehensive market reports, and improving upon my written and verbal communication skills.

As a student eco-rep, I was a community liaison for the college's environment and sustainability office. Along with five teammates, I was responsible for engaging the student body in interactive, enjoyable, and educational experiences to inspire them to adopt more sustainable lifestyles. This included, for example, organizing a campus-wide competition for each dormitory to reduce its electricity consumption and publishing information in campus news outlets and on dormitory community boards. As an eco-rep, I enhanced my community engagement and teamwork skills, as well as skills relating to effective communication.

As an intern, I greeted visiting constituents in the office and managed incoming calls and directed their concerns to the appropriate staff member, as well as processed and logged constituent concerns and communications in the office's database. At community events with the Congressman, I engaged and conversed with constituents. I also aided in staff member's research on federal programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. This included drafting talking points and event briefs for staff members reporting to the Congressman. I gained experience in community engagement, oral and written communication, and conflict resolution.
