The Conference of Independent Schools of Ontario (CIS Ontario) is an association of independent schools located in Ontario, Canada. CIS Ontario has 48 member schools with founding dates from 1829 through to 2002. Our schools collectively educate approximately 27, 000 students and employ over 5,000 staff. The CIS Ontario mission is to enhance excellence within our member schools through exemplary student programs, professional learning and collaborative initiatives. As Executive Director, it is my responsibility to ensure the association provides high-quality programs and services for its member schools.

As an active volunteer with the International Baccalaureate, I conduct workshops for teachers and administrators about the PYP framework and its implementation in schools throughout the Americas. I also consult to schools and conduct authorization/evaluation site visits to assess how well the program standards have been implemented.

I worked as an Instructor for certified Ontario College of Teachers within the Additional Qualfications Mathematics Department. I taught all three levels of the Primary/Junior Specialist in Mathematics both in class and online.
