Completes all Field Scientist’s tasks as well as:* Develops client introductions and onset communications and creates project proposals, including budgets, schedules, and deliverable due dates for future projects * Completes formal and informal threatened and endangered species surveys for local and national clients * Communicates with clients regarding specific permitting needs and requirements according to local and state jurisdictions * Assists in local Brownfields projects, including the creation of project proposals and Site Specific Quality Assurance Project Plans (SSQAPPs)* Collaborates on Geographic Information System products for internal and external use

Completes all Assistant Scientist’s tasks as well as: * Oversees budget management and serves as a project manager for Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Soil and Groundwater Management Plans, Limited Site Investigations, Wetland Assessments and Delineations, Threatened & Endangered Species Assessments, and other Natural Resource projects for commercial, industrial, and undeveloped properties* Manages resources, project scheduling, budgets and forecasts, invoicing, and working with external vendors, subcontractors or contractors* Completes soil and groundwater sampling and oversees well installations for Limited Site Investigations and other site assessment activities for commercial and undeveloped properties* Sets priorities, assigns tasks, and coordinates with project staff to meet project milestones and targets within scope in a timely manner

* Collaborates with environmental engineers, geotechnical surveyors, and technicians to conduct successful environmental site investigations, assessments, and surveys * Identifies, evaluates, and recommends risk and remediation strategies and designs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations* Maintains quality standards, performs site visits, and collects data for other project members and the project manager * Assesses and compiles data from a variety of database sources to recommend further action tactics that may address on-site risk to human health and the environment

Investigating both the accompanying legislation and monetary costs associated with recyclable materials and the sustainability of materials usage for consumer products using four main research questions: 1. What are the ecological and economic parameters of recycling between the different SPI codes of plastic and how does this affect the recycling process they undergo? 2. What drives policy change and how does policy change affect the before and after of infrastructure details and consumer involvement? 3. Explore the differences between successful recycling and unsuccessful recycling in different regions and why this difference is present. 4. Does recycling differ in varying levels of enforcement and present legislation between large corporations and individual consumers?

Lead author and presenter in the American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting 2021 for the abstract titled "An Investigation into Processes that Define Effective Recycling Legislation in the Tampa Bay Area" (abstract ID: 902433) in session title "Advancing Equitable Science Policy: Frameworks, Stories, and Best Practices I Poster".

* Assisted with environmental surface water and red tide field monitoring programs to promote resource management* Supported fellow laboratory assistants in chemical water quality testing procedures* Completed data analysis using a variety of programs and software such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS)* Partnered with professionals in the field to monitor streams, ponds, and coastal water bodies* Recorded data in the field and digitally through a variety of county databases* Collaborated with other interns on the Walk the WBID project and the subsequent final report and county policy recommendations
