Sarah Powell is a HR Deputy Manager at the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB), a world-class scientific facility at Michigan State University. With over six years of experience in various HR roles at FRIB, she leads and supports HR activities and functions for faculty and academic staff, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and excellence.Sarah holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Central Michigan University. She also served in the Michigan Army National Guard and deployed to Kuwait and Iraq in 2010, where she developed her communication, and problem-solving skills. She is passionate about collaborating with a growth-driven organization to achieve aggressive HR goals. She lives in Holt, Michigan, with her husband and three sons.
