Currently I am enrolled in a one-year IT program that includes college-level coursework, career training, and a six month corporate internship. I am presently interning at The Carlyle Group primarily in a Service Desk Analyst role. During my recent studies I have obtained a variety of soft skills such as team work, adaptability, and critical thinking. Along with soft skills I've embarked on several technical skills from Active directory, SCCM and Microsoft Office Windows 7 and 8 operating systems and Microsoft suites. Trouble shooting, running cables, imaging configuration, as well as setting up work stations for new hires and desk moves for current employees as you will see from the attached resume. I’ve built my career in a variety of roles and industries. In previous positions in Customer Service establishments, I was recognized for my inventive problem solving skills and outstanding customer service. I’m great with people and have excellent customer service. Working towards earning 18 college credits in Information Technology and English in partnership with Northern Virginia Community College; working on coursework in computer networking, computer troubleshooting and repair, business writing, professional skills, personal finance, customer service, and critical thinking. Eventually I am looking to gain work experience in order to gather knowledge as well as involvement in my future career path. I plan to continue my education work towards receiving my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) which prepares me for entry-level general practices. After pursuing this I anticipate going back to school to receive The Master of Social Work (MSW) prepares me to do advanced specialized practices in direct practice or administration fields.
