LocalMotion, an innovative social enterprise that brings a fresh approach to skills based volunteering in Hong Kong. LocalMotion is a matchmaking platform that connects professional to non profits and social businesses who have skills gaps - specifically in the areas of Marketing, Design, Events and Communications. LocalMotion also has a consultancy arm which provides strategic services in Marketing, Communications and Event Management to non profits and social enterprises. As a Co Founder of LocalMotion, I was involved in the development, management and running of the organisation - from the strategic planning, the program design (Volunteers, non profits and corporates), the community outreach and building of partnerships, Marketing, Branding & consultancy work.

Resolve Foundation is a non profit with the mission to create a more inclusive Hong Kong through its signature Fellowship. The program brings together 20 emerging community leaders looking to advance their social justice work. It takes them through 8 months of workshops and one to one mentoring, focusing on leadership development, campaigning skills and human rights awareness. In order to ensure that Resolve is able to give equal attention to different issues, the theme of the fellowship changes each year. In 2019, it was on Racial Equality and Inclusion, in 2019 on Gender Based Violence and in 2020, on disABILITIES and Empowerment: Less Assumptions, More Conversations. As the Head of Programs, my primary role is to oversee the successful planning and execution of the Social Justice Fellowship and launch of an Alumni Program and Opportunity Fund (Grants Fund). As a member of Senior Management, I also work closely with the CEO and Head of Marketing & Fundraising in supporting fundraising efforts, crafting long term partnerships with members of the community, and in the strategic planning and direction of the organisation.

Sowers Exchange is a Social Enterprise that focuses on building high impact CSR and educational programs. In my position as Director of Projects and Partnerships, I was involved in:• The development of a new business strategy, the improvement of existing corporate CSR products, identifying new opportunities & further strengthening relationships with NGO/community partners, schools & corporate clients• Working to develop a schools product that now holds 13 experiential service trips available to market in the next sales cycle to international/private local school in HK & the region. The trips focused on working with grassroots NGOs/community partners in HK & around SE Asia, all who are tackling specific issues• Working to develop new community engagement & ‘off site with a purpose’ progammes for employees from various global corporations. All the programmes were created to tackle identified needs from NGOS & to meet corporate objectives at the same time• Working to build a network of reliable NGO partners through vetting/due diligence & now have a network of organisations/individuals within the social enterprise/innovation sector

My role at JLL included the planning and implementation of all Events, Marketing & Communications activities for internal stakeholders within the organisation (Residential, IP, PM, markets, retail teams etc). I was involved in the rolling our of JLL's global brand re launch locally. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, I planned and implement all CSR and staff engagement activities. This involved vetting/building partnerships and working closely with non profits/social enterprises/foundations, measuring impact and crafting meaningful engagement programs for JLL.

Whilst I was at this position, my role included the creation, planning and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions & events for the Sands China’s 6 properties (Venetian, Sands, Plaza, Holiday Inn, Sheraton & Conrad). These campaigns were put together to market the hotel, F&B, entertainment, casino or the Sands Rewards Club. I was also involved in the development & marketing strategy of the Sand Rewards Club Phase 2 Loyalty programme launched in line with the opening of the Conrad, Sheraton & Holiday Inn hotels.

Whilst in this role, I worked closely with all the internal departments:- Marketing/Promotion- The creation of new itineraries & promotional ideas such as developing gifts & lucky draws in aid of the marketing & development of products. - Special Groups - Communicated & organised tours for Special Groups- Sales - Involved primarily in the follow up work for clients, hotels, airlines & ground agents- Accounts- Produced invoices, receipts & costing for each client/ground agents- Customer service- Contacted clients on return by assessing their journey & trying to make improvements from feedback- Health & Safety- Emailed & researched hotels to make sure their H&S reached Virgin Holidays company standards system. I was also part of the crisis team during ‘Iceland Volcano’ & ‘BA strike’ to ensure that problems were solved in the most effective ways
