As a member of our Leadership Advisory practice, I focus mainly in our CEO Succession and Leadership Development space. I partner closely with Boards and CEOs of Fortune 100 companies to design, implement, and manage CEO succession planning engagements that translate strategic goals into executive succession and leadership development programs that uncover the potential of executive talent and accelerate their growth. Other work includes top team and board effectiveness workshops, as well as organizational culture projects. Internally, I co-host our Associate Community Leadership Advisory podcast and am a member of our Wellness committee in Toronto.

This internship was part of the Full-Time MBA program at Rotman, where students have a 4 month internship in the middle of their MBA. During my time, I provided strategic direction and advisory services in the sports and entertainment industry for a top Canadian bank and top Canadian retailer with sponsorship budgets of $150M+. This included assisting with and writing all parts of the client engagement lifecycle, culminating with in-person presentations to both clients.Additionally, I performed landscape analyses and financial valuations of current and prospective partnerships for the business development side of the consulting business. At the conclusion of my internship, I was awarded the ‘Wassome Award’ for August 2019, a quarterly company award given to an employee demonstrating the values and dedication Wasserman strives for.

As the Sales Executive, I oversaw all reactive and proactive enquiries, specifically for the William Kent House. This included managing and retaining both personal and corporate client accounts. I consistently achieved 'top tier' sales performance through cultivating loyal relationships with Ritz guests and revisiting business development ideas to cater to the ever-changing needs of clients. I was responsible for controlling and forecasting our $5M budget, and reported weekly to our General Manager and Head of Sales.

As the Sales Associate, I was responsible for reactive enquiries that came into the hotel, facilitating the client's relationship with the hotel from start to finish. I responded to RFPs, negotiated contracts, and met monthly revenue targets. I received the 'Ritz Rising Star Award' for outstanding growth and dedication within the company (out of 400 staff).

I was the Manager on Duty, reporting directly to the Hotel General Manager, overseeing 400 staff and 200+ guests. I was on-call for any hotel operational or staff issues, as well as guest issues that arose during the day/night. I worked directly with department managers around the hotel to ensure an integrated and seamless approach to running the hotel. This included early morning and early evening handovers with the Rooms division of the hotel, as well as daily meetings with the Food and Beverage side of the hotel. This position demanded critical client management skills in order to handle issues instantaneously, in a professional and positive manner. I always conducted a hands-on, client-centric approach to problems, adapting the solution to fit the guests needs in the best way possible. I was able to leverage my knowledge of human behaviour and understanding of C-Suite clientele, to deliver exceptional results.
