I coordinated College Recruiting efforts for all TSV locations (Augusta, GA, Kennesaw, GA, and Thief River Falls, MN). I traveled to Colleges and Universities to recruit students at Career Fairs and other campus events for intern and full time opportunities within the company. As well, navigated the entire hiring process for these openings. I also acted as the Intern Program Coordinator for 100+ interns where I would plan and execute our intern program. This consisted of preparing our managers and team for the upcoming summer, coordinating summer housing options, planning engagement events, holding exit interviews with all interns, and meeting with managers as they make decisions to convert interns to full time.

Auburn, Alabama Area

I served as a first response for freshmen and transfer students attending Camp War Eagle (freshmen student orientation) and Successfully Orientating Students (transfer student orientation). I also managed mailings and data entry related to CWE and SOS programs.

Auburn, Alabama Area

As a HR intern for Auburn University Division of Student Affairs I created data analysis using excel to summarized the results of employee performance evaluations; compiled a salary survey summary for 20+ jobs within the division of Student Affairs among 22 South Eastern Universities; and created an analysis of Auburn University’s division of SA based on sex, gender, and race in order to evaluate our EEOC codes. I attended New Employee Orientation, reviewed applications, and attended hiring committee meetings for a new HR generalist position.

Birmingham, Alabama Area

As a full-time intern in the Placement & Development Department for AMERICAN, I practiced many HR skills. My main task each day was to help navigate a new hiring process for an entry-level manufacturing requisition of 50+ new employees. I became proficient in Wonscore, a selection assessment tool, and Applicant Pool, an applicant tracking system. I also helped facilitate multiple new employee orientation sessions that included 9-12 employees per session. As well, I was able to practice each step of the recruiting and hiring process.
