I'm trained as a fine art photographer, which affords me a unique relationship with structure, form, composition, and texture. My background working in varied mediums gives my work adaptability, and my training has guided me toward an understanding of context and meaning and how each individual moment is best conveyed. In a way photography is both expression and communication and I'm always sure not to forsake either aspect, but I also pride myself on quickly grasping what the a client is looking for in the work. My goal is to capture that efficiently and thoroughly and work collaboratively toward a product that everyone will love.My work is process-based in the sense that I love creating and adapting for each new project or client. From the technical side, this is both fun and helps me grow. I also love helping people find new ways to express themselves and their work and lives and working collaboratively is one of the best parts of my job. Meeting people and learning about them and helping them use photos to preserve or communicate never gets old.
