Fms Program Analyst (Amcom Samd)
Served as a Case Line Manager and Financial Subject Matter Expert for the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) Qatar PATRIOT program.• Utilized knowledge of case development and execution to provide a customer-focused “Total Package Approach” for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs. Processing Letters of Request (LORs) and Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs) on the fielding of PATRIOT systems to ensure they are developed with accuracy (to cover all assigned program missions) and in accordance with guidelines established in the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM).• Served as a point of contact for life cycle management of FMS items of equipment. Provided continuous liaison with representatives of other countries, other commands, program offices, and private industry to maintain a favorable Security Assistance posture and program, and guarantee the timely execution of supporting contracts.• Routinely extracted, consolidated, and managed data from finance systems (such as the General Fund Enterprise Business Systems – GFEBS, and Logistics Modernization Program – LMP) for complex logistical and financial reports in order to effectively interpret and answer country-specific financial requests and to plan for/address case line monetary issues. Processed financial requests (PWDs/MIPRs) with exceptional attention to detail to ensure that funds are utilized correctly and within allotted budgets.• Creatively applied problem-solving skills to meet assigned missions and DOD objectives. Simultaneously utilized personal background and Arabic language skills to actively encourage a deeper understanding and sensitivity among the SAMD PATRIOT team to cultural and business practices of U.S. CENTCOM partner nations.• Constantly seeking new training opportunities to enhance expertise in providing Security Cooperation solutions and mastering relevant FMS program tools.
