At Austin Achieve, I have the privilege of working in small groups to support students in catching up to their grade level in reading comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary. I monitor and track reading data for 5th-grade students, identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted interventions. Together with my team, we work to create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated and empowered to engage with texts. In addition to this responsibility, I co-lead both the school's garden and bee clubs, where we are able to enhance student's connection with their lived environment and get them passionate about being outside.
