I have the honor of leading a fantastic team of PhD and masters-level researchers and analysts, managing the largest industry portfolio of digital mental health research (60+ peer-reviewed studies, 75+ collaborators) and setting the strategic direction of our business and product, working closely with our GTM and product leadership. This work includes:- Health outcomes research / efficacy and effectiveness studies of novel products and services - via both randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and real-world evidence (RWE)- A diverse set of strategic client/partner projects - everything from actuarial claims data analyses to community impact evaluations, government organization pilots, and VR efficacy studies- Broad quantitative member research to better understand member needs and inform product, service and market development- Prospective financial impact modeling and retrospective claims impact studies

Via merger of Headspace + Ginger :)Post-merger, I managed integration with the Headspace Science team while maintaining our legacy Ginger research function - leading evidence generation efforts tied to business objectives of value communication, care innovation, and quality improvement efforts, including peer-reviewed publications (7+), internal studies to enable efficient product and service development, and claims data + actuarial studies to directly support marketing and commercial enablement.

I lead Ginger's Research & Evaluation efforts, building a portfolio of projects focused on better understanding our members and care system. I work closely with Data Science, Care, Product, and Marketing teams and partner with our customers and other external collaborators to execute these projects.

I led cross-functional planning and execution of health research projects, pilots, and new health product launches.

As part of the Fitbit Health Solutions team, I led and supported various health market development programs, including:- Developing and managing strategic collaborations with academic and life sciences organizations through ideation, contracting, and execution- Building and refining internal cross-functional processes for health research- Partnering with business development on proof of concept projects- Advising sales, marketing, and product teams to address research customer needs

The Vitality Group is a member of South Africa-based Discovery Limited, a leading international financial services organization and the originator of the Vitality well-being program, which has over 6 million members worldwide. While enrolled in Columbia's MPH program, I worked at Vitality, collaborating with the marketing, actuarial, and global health strategy teams on various projects related to personalized health technologies (e.g. wearables and smartphone apps) and health promotion, including:-Vitality's Wearables Weekly newsletter-Competitive product analyses-Thought leadership (e.g. white papers and peer reviewed publications) on the topic of health technology. In addition to this work, I used R, SAS, and SQL to provide analytics on member engagement, dietary behaviors, and other health outcomes.

Consultant (January 2013 - January 2015)Senior Associate (January 2012 - January 2013)Associate (February 2011 - January 2012) Berkeley Research Group is a leading global strategic advisory and expert consulting firm that provides independent advice, data analytics, authoritative studies, expert testimony, investigations, and regulatory and dispute consulting. As a consultant in the healthcare analytics practice, I worked for a variety of healthcare clients (pharmaceutical manufacturers, pharmacy benefit managers, health insurers, hospital systems) on issues related to data analytics and dispute resolution. Prior to joining the healthcare team, I worked on intellectual property, antitrust, and international trade cases for a number of Fortune 500 companies, including several cases related to smartphone patent litigation. I also helped organize the campus recruiting strategy for BRG's Washington, DC office.

I worked with LECG directors on various cases to calculate economic damages related to intellectual property and commercial litigation, including a class action lawsuit against a major US motor company.
