Recruited to design and implement a brand new computerized program planning system for Independent Broadcasting in the UK. Helped design the program, which then only took 1.5 days per week to run. After a few weeks reading the paper, was recruited to run the ITV Associations Computer Help Desk and started training people to use their computers.

Initially responsible to the Commissioning Editor for Children's TV on Channel 4. My boss brought Sesame Street into the UK as a new learning tool! :-)) Learned to operate Channel 4's program planning software on the DEC VAX (not a vacuum cleaner). Scheduled the odd cartoon when I was allowed.

Typed, made coffee, helped organize my boss who brought cable decoders from the USA to the UK. I used an IBM computer (one of the first). Black screen, white type.
