Currently working as Communications Manager for BAFTA-winning creative studio, Lighthouse Studios, working alongside world-class talent every single day. I have accumulated almost 20 years of professional experience spanning a wide variety of roles where message-shaping was essential for success.From my early days onstage at the Olympia to my brand activation days in London, I've brought my passion and talent for creating great experiences and influencing perception to the table at every twist and turn of my career. At NP Group as a recruitment consultant, I learned how to straddle and lead the connection between client and candidate. This introduction to the corporate world of central London instilled in me the skillful nuances of stakeholder management which have supported me in every role since. At Maven TM I was promoted twice, starting out in business development before moving into client management and account sales management. During my time there, I developed a new system for tactical social media outreach and rolled it out across the business. I was responsible for creating sales tactics and messaging, managing project teams and providing coaching, while also actively leading sales campaigns. I regularly exceeded targets and worked in multiple technology sectors, managing up to 4x diverse lead generation projects each week, in areas such as cloud computing, digital marketing and data storage. At the market research firm, Userneeds (now Norstat), I was responsible for building the Irish market research panel through the UX research product, Webstatus. My lead generation background combined with my marketing and promotional skills helped me not only manage existing key accounts but also win new opportunities with new clients such as RTÉ. The Irish panel grew exponentially, and I consistently exceeded targets, finishing each year between 150-180%. After gaining a PG Cert in Digital Marketing and an MA in Comms, my first role as Communications Manager at Insight HR was spent overseeing the redevelopment of the website and branding, working alongside the MD to launch and co-host the Insight HR podcast, and managing the technical delivery of the monthly HR Room webinar series. It was during this time that I truly learned about what makes a great corporate culture, writing 4x articles per month to support businesses through the tricky Covid phase, and quickly became something of a subject matter expert thanks to the guidance and support of Mary and the entire team.
