Career Highlights: ★ Serve as a real estate law SME for 500+ real estate agents and brokers, in addition to providing expertise and counsel on business law and employment law for company proprietors and management at The Real Estate Service Center. ★ Counseled corporations such as TRESC, Re/Max Concepts, and other related entities at The Real Estate Service Center while guiding company management on general business-related operations and policy handling in IA, IL, and FL. ★ Became 1 of 12 members elected to the Iowa Association for Justice Workers’ Compensation Core Group in Feb 2016 while serving for 6 years (until Mar 2022). ★ Delivered multiple speeches and CLE presentations at the Iowa Association for Justice, the Iowa Worker’s Compensation Advisory Committee, and the Iowa Association of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers. ★ Won the first transgender rights case in Iowa against Iowa State University, with $28K paid to settle the claim to cover reassignment surgery and allowing equal access to healthcare benefits based on gender identity.
