Facilitate individual and group interventions using evidence-based psychological supports and strategies Conduct School Readiness Assessment by administering cognitive assessments and interviewing caregivers using an adaptive behaviour scale. Partner with trans-disciplinary therapy teams to provide educational supports to students and promote their social, emotional and behavioural development.

Administered weekly cognitive assessments to assess children from 18 months to 7 years old with learning, behavioural and developmental needs (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder, Speech and Language Disorders, Specific Learning Disabilities, and children at risk of developmental delays). Conducted individualised literacy interventions for children by empowering parents with evidence-based strategies to build children’s literacy skills. Partnered with a Speech Therapist and a Learning Support Educator to implement a Social Skills Group for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder using the Social Thinking® We Thinkers!approach.

Responsible for a caseload of about 6-8 special needs students, aged between 4-6 years old. Collaborated with a trans-disciplinary team of allied health professionals, psychologists, and social workers to develop and implement Individualised Educational Plans (IEPs) for students.Established partnerships with parents and students’ mainstream preschools to help generalise learning in the home and community settings.

Facilitated classroom learning for students with autism and directed them in community-based activities during field trips. Assisted teachers in the preparation of instructional materials.

Mindfully guided students through daily routines, planned activities, and the academic curriculum, utilising autism-support strategies and visuals, such as Aided Language Stimulation boards. Helped conceptualise and generate personalised learning resources for the subjects of English and Mathematics, also creating autism-support visuals and producing ad-hoc materials aiding social and self-regulation learning.
