Sarah was part of a highly successful large scale implementation of Kuali Financial Systems at the University of Arizona. Her role as Contracts and Grants, Effort Certification and Accounts Receivable Lead gave her hands on experience with many aspects of project implementations, including development, testing, training, reporting and support.

Sarah worked for the Sponsored Projects Office doing post award administration. She was responsible for processing new accounts, account modifications, and internal university grants management. This involved preparing invoices, financial and patent reports in accordance with sponsor and university requirements. Sarah managed gift accounts, contract and grant accounts, indirect cost accounts and patent accounts for many business units on campus. She acted as support for those business units, advising and assisting them on Sponsored Projects and sponsor procedures, account maintenance and compliance. Sarah reviewed expense transfers and purchase requisitions for permissibility with A-21 audit requirements and did journal entries and budget adjustments in accordance with university policy. Sarah was also involved with Kuali Foundation testing for the Kuali Coeus Project.
