Assistant Program Manager & Project Manager for Tigard-Tualatin School District Bond

Coordinated project team and processes on Roosevelt High School's phased, occupied-site $92M renovation / new construction project from Master Planning through Phase 1 Construction. Maintained synchronized project leadership with the Projector Director by delivering swiftly on project needs, and managing project components including community outreach and public communications. This included facilitating school district and community relations through public presentations at neighborhood associations and community events and developing written promotional materials for the print and web. Managed internal meetings with architects, contractors and AHJs to facilitate project planning, design, and permitting reviews including SHPO coordination, energy incentive & LEED management, and adhering to 1.5% for Green Energy Technology requirements. Lead multiphased logistics and move coordination for the Owner and oversaw FF&E selection/procurement for school ($3. 5M), including sourcing specialized equipment / materials for Career Technical Education (CTE) classrooms.

Program Level: Successfully delivered voter support for a historic $482 million bond, the largest in Oregon's history at the time, by supporting community input workshops that shaped the proposed bond package. Ensured the district's due diligence was consistently demonstrated to the public, and communication was aligned across multiple departments. Additionally, I worked to drive public literacy in capital construction and renovation by creating an interactive website that simplified technical terms, showcased the need for construction work, and consolidated outreach documents. My efforts included developing a deep knowledge of Portland’s neighborhoods and communities through extensive site visits and outreach meetings across the district’s 96 schools.Project Level: Achieved on-time / on-budget completion of the Marysville K-8 $4.8M post-fire renovation project with additional scope upgrades and seismic improvements through close coordination of A/E team and management of a design-bid-build construction contract. Managed SHPO coordination, energy incentive applications, move management/logistics, and PM/CM support.

Served as a founding team member in the Office of School Modernization and built relationships of trust, engagement, and influence with other PPS departments and school-based staff as part of Pre-Bond development. Developed the District's initial capital projects sustainability policy as a capstone contribution by conducting industry research, drafting white papers on construction best practices, and preparing reports on school energy performance.

Collaborated with a Founder to overhaul event volunteer and sponsor recruitment and management processes for a sustainable events start-up. Incorporated years of experience as an event volunteer and recruiter for a community service organization to streamline volunteer incentives, retention, and communication practices.
