I graduated from Florida International University in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Natural and Applied Sciences. My intent is to become a health care professional. With a Health and Human Concerns focus, I have acquired skills and knowledge from various courses I’ve taken throughout my academic career. Through these courses, I analyzed and consulted the best practices and best decisions needed to make in the health-care field, was introduced to the importance of research experiments and the proper ways to conduct investigations and, I gained vital information that ensures a long and healthy life through the practice of exercise as medicine. However, with the public I’ve gained most of my experience working with children, including children with physical and developmental disabilities; I volunteered initially at my local church and at an organization that works closely with the disabled community. Now, I’d like to use my academic, work, and volunteer experiences to engage in the public health and healthcare environment through internship or employment opportunities.
