A gardener's heart with the head of a communications strategist.I have worked in non-profit communications and marketing in various capacities for 15 years. My passions lie in sustainable livelihoods, the Arts, and social enterprise.Utilizing my communications and small business development background, I founded and ran a small scale farming business that helped establish a community of Alberta-grown cut flower producers through business development seminars and workshops, while amplifying sustainable market farming practices. I published a book; "DON'T PANIC: A Business Guide to Small Scale Cut Flower Farming" that shares business building knowledge through the lens of a small scale entrepreneur. I've since returned to the city and now work with Momentum Calgary, which builds on my passion for sharing skills in strategic communications and making sustainable livelihoods accessible to those living with financial and social barriers.
