I am a senior designer with nearly twenty five years of experience.I have been doing layout design for a local alternative weekly newspaper for over a decade. Proficient in Adobe InDesign, InCopy, Photoshop and Illustrator. Creative layouts, illustrations, and photo planning, manipulation and retouching work their way into my day to day, as well. Highly organized, deadline focused, self-motivated, an independent worker and an active part of a creative team. Able to accept and manipulate client files into a print-ready workflow. Other duties include interpreting planning matrixes from multiple departments to create a coherent layout with effective structure and meaningful flow. My background is in pre-press and graphic design in offset printing. So preparing projects for printing, vendors and preflight of files is second nature.I maintain part time/contract/freelance clients as well, working on projects ranging from branding, product packaging & promotion, social media content and images, hand lettering & illustration, promotional & mailing layout and t-shirt design. Most of these are remote/freelance, so I am able to utilize my organization and communication skills constantly to complete projects and meet deadlines.
