I specialize in trend and market research, conceptual design, and the end-to-end manufacturing process. The products I create are tailored to each retailer and can be found at Walmart, Costco, Safeway and Trader Joe's, etc.

Greater Los Angeles Area

As the creative director of a pet accessory startup I oversaw the creation and launch of all product lines in trendy bright designs based on latest power-coating technology. Products are carried by major retailers including Petco and PetSmart. I extended the brand into the launch of QR SmartTag technology enhanced leashes that support finding lost pets. I also oversaw licensing and product partnerships with major entertainment companies such as Disney and Warner Brothers Studios.

I was the co-founder and creative director of an educational product startup focusing on sustainability and was supplemented in K-5 classrooms across the US. I oversaw product development of classrooms kits, activity books, and an animated video series on gardening and recycling. Toymato was the winner of the 2012 Teachers’ Choice Award.

I created and launched a new line of nutraceutical products for veterinary pharmaceutical company ACT, carried by major retailers such as PetSmart and vet clinics across the U.S. I oversaw all creative parts including brand strategy, design, packaging, and marketing. I worked with the CEO on go-to-market strategies and strategic partnerships.

As the lead buyer for online retail startup Zebra Hall, I led the sourcing and design of international toys. I visited all annual major international toy trade fairs and formed partnerships with manufacturers ranging from artisanal to major toy companies. I created the bi-annual Zebra Hall catalog and oversaw marketing and design of Zebra Hall branded toys. Zebra Hall was featured in lead national magazines and the Dustin Hoffman movie Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium.
