The business support team is the main point of contact for store queries regarding Tesco Direct. I was responsible for answering queries on the product range that customers raised at the point of order in store, and any queries regarding the delivery of items. I was involved in responding to supplier queries, advising on advanced issues from a customer service perspective and also in arranging proactive communications with customers to advise of any problems. Finally I assisted the product team. This meant I dealt with questions about products, raised by customers either in store, over the phone or by email, and liaised with the warehouse and commercial teams to confirm details for customers.

Working in one of the smaller convenience sized Express stores I was part of a team responsible for working within every section of the store. I helped serve customers, bring in deliveries and replenish shelves. Ensuring good practices were followed within fresh produce stock rotation and identifying and applying any necessary reductions.
