About Sarah Selecky ✨

I am the author of two critically acclaimed books: Radiant Shimmering Light, which Kirkus Reviews called “A killer satire… and a funny, tender, gimlet-eyed dive into the cult of self improvement.” and Giller Prize-nominated This Cake Is for the Party, which The New York Times called “utterly fascinating.” My books have earned praise from the New York Times, BUST, Marie Claire, Chatelaine, The Washington Post, Kirkus Reviews, and Publisher's Weekly, among others, and I am currently developing Radiant Shimmering Light for television with Muse Entertainment, serving as executive producer.I am also the founder of the Sarah Selecky Writing School (est. 2011), which is now a creative community for thousands of writers from around the world.
