As an intern on staff with GRACE, I assisted with and facilitated weekly group programming for the Child Sex Trafficking Recovery and Awareness services sector. This included maintaining open communication and close relationships with SDYS staff and those being served. Additionally, I partook in logging and recording data pertaining to youth well-being and participation, as well as weekly attendance to plan for meal needs, food pantry restocking, and transportation needs. I also held the roles of mentor and chaperone on off-site events with those being served. As an independent volunteer outside of GRACE, I continue to foster the relationships I established with youth and attend groups monthly to remain a stable and consistent presence in their lives.

Assisted Program Coordinator in organizing and co-facilitating weekly therapeutic art groups and physical movement groups for the youth being served. Leadership tasks included designing programming activities, ordering supplies needed while managing a budget, providing safe transportation for youth, and fostering and nurturing supportive relationships with those being served. Notable achievements include overseeing community outreach with local businesses, partnering with GRACE for a fundraiser event, and coordinating and facilitating the launch of a new driver's education program. I also led a collaborative effort with Jewish Family Service's Breaking Down Barriers to create cultural awareness/humility and sensitivity training for the GRACE team.
