About Sarah Tan
My goal in life is to change the world for the better, and this has been a guiding principle in all my major decisions. Games, and other interactive experiences, are my tool of choice to bring about my vision, which is why I came to America as a Master's student at the Entertainment Technology Center at Carnegie Mellon University. I'm especially interested in Virtual Reality (and AR/MR). Since being introduced to developing for it in January 2015, my passion for it has only grown, and want to share the joy of it with the world. As an extrovert, I love people too! Working with others is one of my favorite things, and I've been told many times that I'm a great team player capable of lighting up the room with my attitude. And did I mention that I'm a HUGE foodie? I spend almost all my free time cooking, developing recipes, and finding people to give my food to (when you cook as much as I do, having too much food is a thing) 🙂
Listed skills include Digital Media, Java, Public Speaking, User Experience, and 17 others.
