I am a supervisor in the PASSPORT/Assisted Living Waiver Department. I provide support, supervision, and guidance to the clinical care management team made of RNs and LSWs. I work with funders of the program to ensure compliance and to disseminate information and changes to the program rules that impact day to day work of the care management and support specialist team.

PASSPORT Team Educator/Trainer 2020-2023PASSPORT Care Manager 2019-2023I was the care manager for individuals 60 years and older who live in the community or in assisted livings. I help support health and safety in the community through managing in-home services and referrals to community resources. In fall 2020, I was promoted into an additional role of team educator in the training department. In this role, I provide trainings to members of the PASSPORT Department to facilitate growth within the team. As of December 2023, I am a supervisor in the PASSPORT Department providing support and instruction to the care management and support specialist team.

As a Wright State MASW Practicum student, I get to experience a wide range of macro-level skills that social workers get to experience. I am leading an advocacy training presentation for local universities and creating a webinar series on how to advocate. In addition, I participate in United Way's public policy meetings.

As a social work student intern, I was given hands on experience working with hospice patients and given opportunities that allowed me to grow as a professional. I connected patients to resources in the community, I provided interpersonal support, and I was able to create two patient's 'perfect days'.

As a student intern, I worked with clients with developmental disabilities of all ages. I learned about the investigation process for unusual incidents to protect the rights and autonomy of clients on services. I attended Developmental Disability Awareness Day in Columbus, Ohio.
