These high profile programmes drive opportunities for Scotland to do business globally through business events, meetings and media relations.My role is extremely varied and can range from planning and delivering business events in market to drafting a succinct briefing on the investment opportunities in a particular sector or providing background for a minister in advance of a company meeting. I work extremely closely with global teams from across our organisation and the Scottish Government, as well as our partners and participating companies, to deliver a "Team Scotland" approach to generating the most impact from an overseas trade mission or ministerial visit. I currently lead on all activity within the Asia-Pacific region and in the last year have worked on ministerial and senior level visits to Japan, China, India, Vietnam and Myanmar.

Also was an active participator in the Enterprise Europe Network, representing Scotland at a number of European events and dedicating myself to improving the quality of the network as part of the Code of Conduct Working Group.
