During my time at the U.S Agency of Global Media (previously Broadcasting Board of Governors), I shadow and assist in producing design work for a variety of uses which could include marketing materials and advertising, including brochures, sell sheets, presentation folders, powerpoints, web banners, newspaper ads, billboards, posters, websites, and email campaigns. My responsibility also includes collaborating with clients and other design team members in solving the communication needs of the agency.Some skills that I have developed through assignments are conceptualization, communication, and organizational skills as well as typesetting, layout and photo manipulation and color-correction skills, and understanding of pre-press and printing processes.

As a 2022 CKA Emerging Leaders Scholarship Recipient, we were granted the opportunity to engage with private to public sector leaders, specifically from the Korean-American community. While attending events in New York City and Washington, D.C., each recipient was responsible for fulfilling their role in their public service-related internship. I had the honor of serving at USAGM during this summer.

With a slogan of "Never Too Pretty to Eat", I assist with organizing and scheduling posts for multiple social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter, with the goal of increasing engagement on posts and in-person events or pop-ups. I also create 30-60 second videos on TikTok with narratives ranging from how to order online and new flavor bonbons.
