I'm the cofounder of Very Serious Media with Josh Barro and the editor and producer of the Very Serious newsletter and podcast (joshbarro.com). I also edit and produce the Serious Trouble podcast with Josh Barro and Ken White (serioustrouble.show). I take on editing and/or producing freelance work, plus showrunning and development projects. I consult with writers and podcasters on Substack: from planning and refining a Substack concept to launch and beyond. Before this, I was a senior producer at KCRW, producing the national politics radio show and podcast Left, Right & Center and the spin-off show All The Presidents' Lawyers. I'm the former editor-in-chief of Time Out Los Angeles.I am a very average but enthusiastic triathlete. You can find me most Friday mornings at the swim buoy about 300 yards out from Tower 26 in Santa Monica.
