A knowledgeable and patient Early Interventionist Teacher adept at managing groups of diverse learners, who effectively collaborates with children, parents, and colleagues. I am committed to providing a secure, nurturing and conducive environment for children to learn and grow in. During my experiences in teaching at Rainbow Centre, I was provided with multiple opportunities to plan and implement lessons of various domains to groups of diverse learners. I was able to apply what I have learnt in my theory classes into practice, such as using of different classroom management strategies and assessment methods. These valuable experiences has increased my confidence in handling challenging classroom situations, and allowed me develop a better insight and understanding on how to effectively engage and support children’s learning and needs. As an experienced volleyball player for 10 years and Vice-captain for Nan Hua women’s volleyball team, I led, assist and worked collaboratively with teammates of various ages and backgrounds through effective communication and interpersonal skills. These experiences and also being involved in multiple competitions has allowed me to develop quick critical thinking skills.During my free time, I volunteer at social events and causes such as Fashion for a Social Cause and Willing Hearts. As a team, I worked together with a group of volunteers to raise awareness for people with special needs, and helped to prepare daily necessities for the vulnerable communities. Through these volunteering experiences, I learnt to be more empathetic and compassionate towards others.
