As an Advisor, my role primarily involved helping my team meet our client’s expectations, as well as exposing myself to more varied kinds of accountancy work than I had at my previous position. My responsibilities included:• Preparation of statutory general purpose and special purpose financial statements for companies, partnerships and trusts• Preparation of income tax returns of companies, partnerships, trusts and individuals• Preparation of business activity statements and income activity statements• Preparation and maintenance of fixed asset registers• Preparation and analysis of client financial position and provide recommendations to improve working capital, return on investment and other financial ratios• Performing bookkeeping services to clients; tasks included reconciliation of bank accounts, inter-entity loans, payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable• Member of the WHK CA committee which organizes study session and support for candidates• Member of the WHK Charity Committee, organizing event to raise money for worthy causes including, Movember, Radio Lollipop and Daffodil Day.
