Sara is an experienced land use & zoning lawyer. She has worked in all phases of the land use and development process, including rezoning, special permit, and special exception and variance applications. Sara has represented landowners, developers, businesses and community non-profits in land use and zoning matters in the counties of Fairfax and Arlington, as well as the City of Fairfax, the Town of Vienna and the Town of Herndon. Her projects have ranged from mixed-use, office, retail and multi-family residential developments to hotels, assisted living facilities and service stations.

Assist clients with residential and non-residential development by guiding them through rezoning, special exception, special permit, variance, administrative processes, and related zoning entitlement issues. Practice focuses on Fairfax County and Arlington County, with additional experience in City of Fairfax, City of Alexandria, Town of Herndon, and Town of Vienna.

Member of the Land Use and Zoning practice group. Focused on both transactional and zoning matters. Prepared deeds, easements, covenants, and homeowners association documents. Guided clients through the entitlement process in Fairfax County, Prince William County, City of Manassas, City of Alexandria, Spotsylvania County, and Town of Herndon.
