When I get asked, "Why is design important?" I answer simply, "Look around you." Seriously. All you have to do is swivel your head in both directions and, dollars to doughnuts, you will see an example of graphic design somewhere in the vicinity. Whether it's signage, pamphlets, company logos, or even something as miniscule as a shopping bag, design is everywhere.That's why, as a graphic designer and illustrator with over ten years of diverse experience, I absorb myself in my role with passion and gusto. My various print experience includes catalog conception and layout, packaging design, signage, and posters. I also have extensive experience with digital marketing design, including email / social media campaigns, photo art direction, and website maintenance.At my current position at Affy Tapple and its sister company Mrs Prindables, I act as creative director for our seasonal print catalogs. This entails conception of layout and typography, as well as directing photography shoots.
