Leveraged proprietary technology to optimize an existing system, achieving a significant increase in speed and substantial improvement in memory usage. This was accomplished without compromising performance by refining the neural network architecture and employing advanced machine learning techniques.

While pursuing Ph.D. in IIT Madras, I simultaneously worked in a couple of funded projects associated with my research area. I worked on Speaker Recognition to improve the performance using a paradigm called "Feature Switching". Implemented feature switching in different speaker recognition frameworks like UBM-GMM and i-vectors. Proposed "decision-level feature switching" as a paradigm for spoof detection which gave promising results in both ASV-spoof-2017 and ASV-spoof-2019 challenge in detecting both logical attack and physical attacksA part of my research work is to perform speaker identification on very short utterances (< 1sec) and this work was funded by Honeywell TechnologiesI also collaborated with my colleagues in Language Identification, Speaker Diarization, Subject Identification using EEG during my Ph.D.I also worked on DRDO project titled "Development of Text/Language Independent Speaker Recognition, Language Identification and Keyword Spotting System for Passive Interception Systems in Adverse Environments” Apart from this, I also worked on TTS project during my Masters and for a brief period during my Ph.D funded by MeiTY.

During my research assitantship I extended my master's project work.

During my Master's I worked in Text-to-Speech (TTS) synthesis. I worked on generating a bilingual TTS with Tamil and English with very small foot-print size by merging acoustically similar phonemes among the languages under consideration. The work is consolidate in my Master's thesis as "Bilingual Text to Speech Synthesis in HTS Framework"
