At Verasolve, I focus on the daily management of a set client base and am responsible for a variety of public relations, marketing, and social media activities such as:• Crafting compelling media pitches to generate placements for ghostwritten articles and interviews.• Researching and writing bylined articles, media pitches, press releases and a variety of other external and internal communications.• Writing targeted and concise messaging for website copy and a variety of marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, event invitations, etc.• Acting as an advocate between clients,other departments and vendors (i.e. designers, printers, etc.) to manage projects and coordinate budgets.• Listening to clients goals in order to build marketing and PR strategies and create appropriate timelines for deliverables.• Uncovering high-value speaking engagements and award opportunities and submitting proposals and applications on a clients behalf.

Tasked with driving new business sales to ShadowTV’s online real-time broadcast news monitoring database as well as CNBC and NBC licensing sales. Responsible for servicing, retaining, and growing an existing client base of approximately 40 communications and public relations clientele and also tasked with bringing in a set number of new clients in a variety of industries. Attended client meetings, presented company services, drafted proposals, responded to government solicitations, negotiated pricing, and executed sales contracts.

Responsible for growing a list of approximately 1,500 mid-market clients comprised of non-profits, government entities, public relations agencies and Fortune 1,000 companies. Pitched and sold InSight™, a web-based platform allowing customers to see both broadcast and online content as it happens. Attended client meetings, industry networking events, presented services, and executed sales contracts.

Managed, retained and grew a client list comprised of non-profits, public relations agencies, government entities and Fortune 500 companies. Provided products and services that included VMS’ baseline products such as broadcast media clips to our advanced professional services, which included competitive analysis reports. Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day management of a set client list comprised of more than 250 clients. Gained a deep knowledge of broadcast news, communications, and public relations.

Received internship in August 2004 and later hired full time in December 2004. Responsible for new business development, advertising purchasing and media planning.
