Sara Rowghani is a creative problem-solver and seasoned marketing executive and advisor with over 17 years of experience in leading and growing high-impact teams and products. She is currently the Head of Marketing at Justworks, a platform that helps entrepreneurs and small businesses grow with confidence.Sara has a proven track record of driving growth, brand awareness, and user engagement for various companies, ranging from startups to tech giants. During COVID, she was CMO at Detect, working to bring fast, accurate, and inexpensive home testing to more people. Her work at Detect included naming, branding, packaging design, messaging, and e-commerce. Before that, she was the Interim Head of Marketing at Airtable, a cloud-based collaboration tool that enables users to create and share custom databases. Prior to her work at Airtable, Sara held various leadership roles at Oscar Health, Kickstarter, and Google, where she managed global campaigns, built teams from scratch, and led design unification projects. Sara has a strong background in product design and engineering, having studied mechanical engineering at Stanford University and furniture design at Danmarks Designskole. She is also an active advisor and mentor for several startups and nonprofits in the fields of education, health, and social impact.
