I worked at Centre for Visual Information Technology (CVIT) as a researcher with Dr. Vineet Gandhi. Our work focused on understanding and improving the generalization performance of neural networks. We proposed a principled constraint of neural network for improving its robustness and generalization (ECML 2021). We extended our work by improving the understanding on the OOD performance of neural networks. (Neurips workshop on Distribution shifts)

I worked with Media Research Group. My research aimed to improve users' engagement and experience while interacting with multimedia content. One of our key projects involve improving human interaction of TTS models by predicting behaviour using acting principles (Stage1: INTERSPEECH, stage2: NAACL).

Pune Area, India

I joined the Behavioural science team with a focus on enhancing the creation and perception of media content using AI. My research was at the intersection of Entertainment and Machine learning in the light of Behavioural Science. We worked on research solutions for personalizing entertainment content and placing a relevant advertisement with minimal distraction. During my tenure in TRDDC I have authored 4 publications at AAAI, ICMR, CVPR and MediaEval.

I was leading the development efforts involving AI based solutions for TCS internal and business clients. We catered across business verticals with technology solutions involving machine learning. We have delivered solutions to government departments and TCS clients. I have received certificates for exemplary performance from my clients in this tenure. My responsibility also included designing and tutoring courses for introducing new associates to Machine Learning.

I joined Innovation Labs TCS with the responsibility to cater to clients with innovative solutions with machine learning-based technologies. Being the first member of this initiative (in ML) I had the responsibility of setting research and developmental goals, setting up the team and timelines. Other than the project delivered to clients, we also delivered solutions to the government as part of the CSR initiative. In the tenure, I was part of ideating 3 patents and winning two Hackathons.
