I’m a senior mixed methods social researcher with over 16 years’ experience working on projects that focus on people and their views and behaviour. I love maximising the impact of research findings to a range of different people. I’m skilled at doing this with lots of different formats – anything from events to animations. I also help other researchers develop their skills. I have extensive quantitative expertise, as well as being highly experienced in a range of qualitative research methods – walking interviews are my speciality. I’m innovative and creative in my work – I really enjoy experimenting with research methods to solve problems. I’ve had leading roles on teams in universities on large (£1m+) multidisciplinary projects working with organisations such as Scottish Forestry (previously Forestry Commission Scotland). I’ve also led small-medium sized projects for organisations such as the Design Council and Transport Scotland.
