Leading efforts to strengthen global learning opportunities for undergraduates through internationalization of on-campus and overseas academic programs; serving on senior leadership team responsible for planning and implementing organizational and programmatic frameworks to support Northwestern's Global Strategy.

Advising and aiding Associate Provost for Global Affairs and leading central administrative staff during reorganization and expansion of international programs and services to support an integrated global learning and engagement strategy for Northwestern University.

Led effort to integrate separate study abroad offices and align with university-wide global education agenda, to strengthen faculty engagement and curricular alignment, and to establish learning outcomes-based program development and management practices.

Oversaw strategic direction and operation of UWM's central international office, including study abroad, international student and scholar services (recruiting, admissions, immigration advising), inter-institutional agreements, and visitor programs. Fostered stakeholder engagement in and support for a comprehensive UWM internationalization strategy aligned with institutional priorities and objectives. Recommended and supported plans to strengthen internationally-focused teaching and research through curriculum and faculty development, campus- and community-based outreach, and grant-writing and development initiatives. Directed cooperative efforts to articulate the Center's mission and plan strategically for long-term expansion of international enrollment and internationally-focused teaching, research, and community outreach.

Evaluate programs, conduct training workshops, edit grant proposals and provide technical assistance to international education offices and international/area/language studies programs. Clients have included:- North Central College- Waukesha County Technical College- Indiana University- University of North Carolina-Greensboro- University of Iowa- Harvard University- Duke University- US Department of Education- National Foreign Language Center

Administered over $17 million annually in international education fellowship, development, training and research grants. Responsible for developing, managing, marketing, evaluating and improving the Title VI National Resource Centers, Foreign Language & Area Studies Fellowships and Language Resource Centers programs. Served as program officer for now-defunded Title IV Critical Languages and Area Studies and Title VI Foreign Periodicals programs.
