For the past 5+ years I have had the good fortune to gain experience within the Italian wine trade working with several global facing companies that gave me the opportunity to utilize my diverse skill sets which include official wine taster/rater, press officer/editorial writer, public relations officer, product manager and project manager. Within these functions I needed to communicate cross culturally and functionally, across various levels of client expertise and the organization’s hierarchy. I incorporate into my daily routine my expertise and experience for which I led, or was part of teams, that managed relationships, evaluated and recommended new products and services to grow the current base of business. As an adjunct to these, my responsibilities included tracking and keeping organized records of sales activities and results and communicating these to senior management on a regular basis. During this period I have had the good fortune to travel extensively and interact with clients in Europe, Asia and the US giving me a global perspective into the wine and wine media business.
