Developed first crowd-sourced train tracking iPhone app called Melbourne TrainTracker; it not only allows user easy access to train timetables, but also allows users to report a delay/cancellation to a train service (which is not provided by any other iPhone app yet). This is a free app, that was developed following months of frustrations with train cancellations and delays, which we wished we could have notified other train users. The beauty of the app is crowd-sourcing (Melbournian's helping other Melbournians)TrainTracker collects timetable information from Metro, has live updates from Metro, but also allows everyday users to log in/report a delay/cancellation should there be one. Reports of cancellations/delays by users will automatically be uploaded to all other users of the application. Till date we have already had 47,780 downloads and growing at about 300 users a month and recently we just upgraded our app with new features like Journey Planner, Auto and Manual Time-Table Update and Time-Table Search Facility.
