Responsible for handling incident management activities on UNIX servers and resolve the issues within SLA;Handling sev1 issues in meet-me-conference-line during 24/5 oncall support.Closely work with change management team and carrying out change requests as per the schedule provided. Intensively involved in Change management team’s interaction with Client’s Change Advisory Board [CAB] meetings and getting approval from change managers and change coordinators for Level 2 change Requests.Installation, Configuration, Maintenance and Administration of RedHat Enterprise Linux 5/6.user and group management; file permission and file ownership; taking Backup of Log files; Restarting network servicesApplied patches on all Linux Boxes from common repository using RPM.Worked on installation of home based agents on all target servers.File system Administration, Setting up Disk Quota, configuring backup solutions.Managed Disks and File systems using LVM on Linux.Adding LUN spaces to the Linux servers allocated by storage team.Troubleshooting Day–to-Day issues with various Servers on different platforms.Troubleshooting logon problems, boot process and printing.Worked with Linux, Oracle Database, and Network teams to ensure the smooth relocation of the servers.Installation, configuration and implementation of Samba service on LINUX based systems.Monitor Linux Server for CPU utilization, Memory Utilization and Disk Utilization for performance monitoring.
